Classes of Camelot Frequently Asked Questions
How do I shoot Lurikeens at the incoming Trolls?
Well, as with Trade skills, I had planned on having a nice discussion on it, but someone beat me to it. You can find all you ever wanted to know about Siegecraft here:
Siegecraft How-to
What's so special about Fort Doors?
Fort Doors are your main protection against the hordes of invaders - they must break through your doors before they can gain access to the fort. Fort Doors can be upgraded and repaired by players who have enough wood and woodworking skill to do so.
How do I repair and upgrade my doors?
Just stand near the door and type /repair or /upgrade.
How much woodworking skill do I need?
It really depends on the level of the door. Doors can be level 1 through 10, and to work on a level 10 door, you must have 500 woodworking. You'll need 50 woodworking per level of the door.
How much wood do I need?
Again it depends on the level of the door. You can use any type of wood you want, but the higher level doors will take a gazillion pieces of low-level wood, so if you're going to be working on the higher level doors, make sure you have enough wood, or make sure to buy some high-level wood!
How do I claim a keep?
You must have a full group (8 players) and have at least 500 Guild Bounty Points, then go stand next to the Keep Lord and type /gc claim all the members of your group are presented with a dialog box asking for their permission for you to claim the keep, all must select yes. You can only own one keep at a time, and you can't claim a keep that another guild already owns.
What's a Keep Level?
Keeps (and towers) increase in power over time when they are claimed - increasing in size, gaining stronger wells, and adding extra guards. This process is automatic whenever a keep is claimed and will start reversing when a keep/tower is released.
How do I stop claiming a keep?
You can use the /gc release command to lose control of the keep, or you can just let your GBP run out.
What are the advantages of claiming a keep?
When you claim a keep, your guild and allied guilds will gain bonuses when in PvP combat, the guards will wear your guild emblem, and you'll automatically gain Guild Realm Points every hour without killing anyone, also you get a message in your guild chat whenever a guard has been kill at your outpost, allowing you to know when it is under attack.
Who can climb walls?
Only assassin classes (Infilitrators, Shadowblades, and Nightshades) and Minstrels, and only after they have at least 25 skill in Stealth.
How do I climb a wall?
Climbing a wall is just like using a ladder - walk over to the wall and click on it, and your character will begin scaling it automatically.
How come it's not working?
Well, you can only climb certain areas of walls, and you can only climb walls on forts.
How do you earn realm points?
By slaying enemy players in the Frontier or Battlegrounds, on normal servers. In Mordred you earn realm points for killing green con and above players, and on Gaheris you earn them by turning in Glowing Dreaded Seals, which are a drop off of Frontier Keep Lords.
