A lot of people sent me e-mail about the Camelot Flow log parser over the past few days - if you'd like to do some parsing that might be a little easier for smaller-scale combat tests, you can try out Neill's DAoC Stats Parser. Neill is also the Warden TL, and hosts a great Warden FAQ on his site. Another great utility that I just heard about is the DAoC Vault Assist program... basically it allows you to outfit your character with over 1200 different items, to see all the different combinations and effects they'd have on your stats. Right now, it looks like some of the functionality is only present for Midgard, but hey... even if you just play around with it... it rox =)
T.J. sent me an updated version of the CoC Companion a few days ago - nothing huge, just some spelling fixes, and an update for some of the SI classes.
There's a new Valewalker/Animist webpage called The Sheltered Grove. Right now the author is still building the page, but of interest are the great SI maps he has. In the last news update, I had a series of great realm-wide SI maps, but if you're interested in seeing the new areas on a zone-by-zone basis, this is the place to go.
Ever feel like it would be really cool to include some of Mythic's XML info about your guild, or characters, or news in your website, but can't get past that whole "learning XML" dealy? Well, the Purple Dragons have made a bunch of their PHP scripts available to the public, to let the common user work with the Herald's XML without worrying about the programming aspect.
As I come to the end of the news today, there's been some recent class-based strife within the community. First, the Warden community is drawing attention to the fact that they are the only healing class that does not receive cure poison and cure disease. The lacking of these spells is becoming more and more painful as poison and disease spells become more proliferant in the game. Stop by their site and Sign their Petition. Also, the Valewalker community is pointing out that Valewalkers are most akin to Friars - they rely on evade and parry because they can only wear cloth, but neither Dex nor Qui, the two stats that affect evade and parry, are primary stats for the Valewalker. You can read more here.

The NDA has been vanquished by the sands of time. Henceforth and furthermore, new info should now be popping up all over the web. For starters, there's a Reaver Guide by our good pal Uriel =) The Camelot Herald added the new SI Spells to it's Spell Library, but for some reason have not added it to their spells.xml ... this means I can't run my spell list generator yet, but you can still check out the Spell Library for some basic spell info until they add their stuff to spells.xml. However, I have added the SI combat styles to the combat styles pages!
Phrogz, author of the Camelot Reporter, has brought another great tool to us today - the Camelot MapScroller. Basically, since the maps of Camelot are too large to fit on a screen with any level of detail, this map makes it easier to look at em'. There's also a new forum up on the links page that seems to be pretty popular - the BarrysWorld Forums, that are shared forums, much like the Mazevo forums. Lastly, Jester updated his Enchanter Guide for us =)

I've added Long Descriptions to the Valewalker, Bonedancer, and Savage pages. Also, Jester sent us a beginner's Valewalker guide - for all those looking for a little general info when starting up your new Valewalker. I got an e-mail from the author of Camelot Flow yesterday - he's made some major updates to it. Camelot Flow now works in any browser and doesn't need the Java plugin. You guys remeber Camelot Flow right? It's basically the best log parsing tool out there =) In other news, the Guild Einherjar from Midgard/Palomides has been busy mapping the new SI continents! They've got full maps of the SI areas from Albion, Midgard, and Hibernia.
Lastly, we've come to some pretty disturbing news recently. The Camelot Herald put up a "Style Library" this week, without relasing styles.xml, I might add. However, the more disturbing part is that the Herald's Style Library does *not* match the information you get from delving your styles in game - specifically, almost every style in game has read "high damage" for quite some time, and the Style Library does not reflect that. Why does it not match? I don't know. It could be just a bug, it could be a conspiracy to keep the players from knowing too much. Either way, the only info we've had at our disposal (delve) for close to a year has been incorrect, and to me, that's unexcusable.

Lotsa qood news stuffs today... where shall I start? How about "News relating to the evilness of this site": Well, due to the boycott, Classes of Camelot has receieved 32,000 unique IP hits in the last 48 hours (that's over 3 times normal), and thusly we just passed the 2 million mark, and the counter only allows one hit per IP per day. Plus - Allakhazam sent me an e-mail today, and it turns out Allakhazam's site is *not* amongst the boycotting sites, regardless of what the other evil-doers would have me and you believe.
Also, Sanya sent out her SI beta e-mails today. If you got one, you'd know that the NDA is effectively ending on Monday. I'm not sure if they'll make an official note of it anywhere, but the Beta e-mail says that the new 3,000 testers aren't bound by the NDA, which probably means they're lifting it when the new Beta people get access (Monday). Because of that, I'll try to have the new combat styles and spell info ready for a Monday release. I must warn you though - the spell info won't be in the nifty layout of the older spell lines until those spells get added to spells.XML on the Herald.

First, I should point you again to the thread that's causing such an uprising in the community. Second, Yuen's back! Woo! Yuen sent me class pictures for the Necromancer, Reaver and Animist today, and promised class pictures for the other classes in the near future. Yay! Thirdly, TJ's back! Woo! TJ sent me an updated version of the Classes of Camelot Companion today, with full support for the new SI classes! As always, the CoC companion can be found in the Files Section. Also, I wrote a long description of the Animist today. Lastly, are you interested in Spellcrafting? Download Leladia's Spellcraft Configurator to determine the best way to set up your equipment.

Today, Mythic released class descriptions of the new SI classes over at the Official SI site. Henceforth, I added long descriptions of my own to the Necromancer and Reaver pages, and will follow up with the other 4 classes over the next couple days. The real news today is a classic case of the heebie-jeebies - Classes of Camelot links are disappearing all over the 'net! Find out why Catacombs, Stratics, and Camelot Vault, who until today could care less about this site, have banded together in an anti-Classes of Camelot movement reminiscent of the union strikes of yore, by reading this thread. I think I've got the right anti-virus software up here, however, so you won't see my links page thinning anytime soon.

I fixed a problem with the Paladin spells pages - the multi resistance buff chants that got introduced last patch didn't have a value in my scripts, and were reading as 'Health Regeneration Chant' - that was wrong. They now read correctly. I also put up some basic SI info on the SI classes' class pages.

Yesterday I was sent a most magnificent Wizard guide -Arandar's Wizard FAQ which deserves a read from every wizard out there. Also, the new Wizard TL dropped me a note that he'll be using a Albion Spellcaster site called The Cauldron for all his TL-related stuff, but The Cauldron is also a good site in general for all manner of Wizard, Thuergist, and Necromancer-related things.
