Go check out Prime!: Anyone interested in DAoC may want to check out Prime: Battle for Dominus. It's kinda like DAoC, but with scifi, and jetpacks, and Sanya.

Christmas Eve News
Submitted by: Uriel on 12/24/2003 7:59:50 PM
On Monday, Mythic revealed the new Hibernian frontier. While the same in scope and complexity, there are unique features to the Hibernian frontier (such as a long-abandoned village); and clarified in the post was that you will have to port to the Frontiers zone.

Mythic is suing Microsoft for trademark infringement, based on the allegation that Microsoft's game "Mythica" comes too close to Mythic's own trademarked "Mythic Entertainment" and could cause confusion leading to the detriment of Mythic's reputation. The law experts on DAoC gaming boards are split as to how this'll go. ;)

And last - but most certainly not least - Kallisti has made a memorial video for Diba of the Pendragon server. Diba the character was the first level 50 Necromancer, a great Cabalist, and brought a smile to all who met her; Elisabeth Ganel, the woman behind the character, was killed in a car accident on November 25, leaving behind a two month old baby girl named Lola. We'll miss you, Diba.

New Midgard Frontier Revealed
Submitted by: Uriel on 12/17/2003 8:45:36 AM
On the Herald yesterday, Mythic unveiled the plans for the new, improved Midgard frontier set to be released with the Frontiers free expansion. The sketch is chock full of choke points, dangerous woods, death canyons, and other strategic points which promise to make RvR more planning and less zerg.

Artifact Database
Submitted by: Uriel on 12/15/2003 4:12:19 PM
If you have Trials of Atlantis, you've probably wanted information on Artifacts at one point or another - how to get them, what to kill for the scrolls, which artifacts are right for your class, etc. We've got the solution - a searchable database of Artifacts with stats, directions on how to get the Artifact itself, what mobs to kill for each of the scrolls, how to level it, and more.

You can find the new database here. Though it is at least as complete as any other resource out there, I couldn't find everything - if you have a correction or addition, please send it (preferably with some sort of corroboration, such as a screenshot) to uriel@classesofcamelot.com.

Thanks to Darkminion of bobbyaarnold.com for the inspiration and some of the information, the posters on the VN Quests and Artifacts board for most of the information, and Mistwolf for programming it.

For other Trials of Atlantis info, we suggest Vision of Sages and TOAScrolls.com.

Edit, 12/16: Astute (or not so astute, in fact) observers may have noticed that the link to the Artifact Database in the Featurettes sub-menu in the navigation was not, in fact, linking to the Artifact Database. It does now.

Now that the deadline for 1.66 TL reports has passed us by, feedback for those same report is starting to emerge. For starters, we have:
Druid Feedback
Thane Feedback

Oh, and by the way - if we don't post something, it doesn't necessarily mean we haven't added it. All the 1.66 reports out there are in our TL report database, for example, despite the complete lack of news about them.
