Go check out Prime!: Anyone interested in DAoC may want to check out Prime: Battle for Dominus. It's kinda like DAoC, but with scifi, and jetpacks, and Sanya.

Two More Lists
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/31/2002 11:48:32 AM
The Runemaster and Spiritmaster spell lists are up in the new format! That completes Midgard, and of course since Hibernia is already done, Albion is next. The "Class-Specific Sites" section of the links page has been re-vamped yet again, and I've added more sites to it.

Little Stuff
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/30/2002 12:10:32 PM
There was an error on the Wizard and Theurgist pages where Saracen's were listed as a playable race in the stats section (but not in the description) - this has been fixed. I also fixed Lunging Blade, the Hibernian Blades Style to list High Damage Bonus, and I revamped the "Class-Specific Sites" section of the Links page, adding a bunch of neat sites that if you haven't seen yet, you should, including The Safehouse, The Drunken Friar, The Sanctum Arcanum, etc. If you know of some more class-specific sites, e-mail me =)

Two more lists done
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/29/2002 8:18:37 PM
The Healer and Shaman spell lists have been converted to the new format, however I am missing all of the patch 1.50 information for the four new seer spell lines. If you have any info on these spell lines, please let me know =)

The New URL is up!!!
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/28/2002 6:57:58 PM
The new URL is up, and should be working for everyone! Again, it's www.classesofcamelot.com. Supposedly, some people could access it Saturday night, a few more on Sunday... I couldn't access it until yesterday, oh well. I sent out an e-mail to all the major news sites (Vault, Catacombs, Warcry, etc.) asking them to post up a message about the new URL, so, hopefully everyone who's been in the dark the past few days will be able to access the site again.

Frustration
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/25/2002 10:45:27 PM
So, it's Saturday night, and the new URL is not working as promised. I gave customer support a call from the company through which I bought the new URL, and they assure me it will be online within the next 24 hours. Until then, I'm moving home... Finals are over, my GPA... well, it's been higher, but I survived =) Expect the Shaman, Healer, Runemaster and Spiritmaster spell lists sometime this week (but after I move, which will take me all of tomorrow). There's two new guilds on the links page, Crusade and Village of Steadwall. Also, thanks to an avid reader with lots of screenshots and dedication, we've been able to prove, contrary to Mythic's released resistance list, Plate and Scale do not resist thrust by 5% - they have both no penalty or bonus to thrusting. I've update the FAQ accordingly =)

Important Note, Our URL has Changed!!!
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/23/2002 8:33:34 PM
Classes.OfCamelot.com's sister site - www.OfCamelot.com unfortunately lost the lease on the domain OfCamelot.com - this means you can no longer access this site using Classes.OfCamelot.com! I have already purchased www.classesofcamelot.com, however, it will be 48 hours until the domain is fully setup, until then, everyone will be required to use the base URL : http://copland.udel.edu/~trevor/camelot. I'm really sorry for this inconvenience... it was beyond my control =( Starting Saturday, May 25th, you should be able to use www.classesofcamelot.com just fine. If you have any friends who visit this site, and have me bookmarked with the old URL, please let them know!

Casting Times & More Lists
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/23/2002 12:30:20 PM
I got my copy of the new Prima Guide in the mail today, which magically contains exact casting times for every spell in the game... so I went ahead and updated all the Hibernian lists with these values, as well as a few things I was unsure of (haste values, etc.). Also, if you notice a ~ under DType for a specific spell, that means there's no damage type associated with that offensive spell at this time. Hopefully Mythic will soon have a damage type for every offensive spell in the game, but until then, the ~ basically means a standard level to level resist. If you've been looking at the spell lists and wondering what some of the abbreviations or acronyms are, don't fret - I plan on having a "key" of sorts soon.
Also, the Enchanter and Mentalist spell lists are up today - that concludes all of the Hibernian spell lists converted. The Skald, Hunter, and Thane lists are up as well, and the rest Midgard is next (because they have less casters than Albion). If you notice any problems with these new lists, please don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail... I'm sure there's at least one or two typos =)

A Small Fix & One New List
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/21/2002 1:54:06 PM
I fixed the Warden's Spell Line, Ferocity of Nature, to reflect the change from a chant to a timer. Admittedly, the database I've been using is a few weeks old and this change wasn't in it =) Also, the Eldritch spell list has been converted to the new format.

More New Spells List
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/20/2002 8:52:19 PM
The Warden, Bard, and Champion spell lists have been converted to the new format, and I made a few minor changes to the Nightshade and Ranger spell lists, normalizing their structure to conform with my templates. Next on the list are the Hibernian mage classes.

The Calm Before the Storm
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/12/2002 3:06:22 PM
I've made all the changes from patch 1.50, including all the changes to combat styles, and the new Healer and Shaman spell lines. I changed the level of the Mentalst's Storm of Insanity from 45 to 46, changed all caster self-bladesturn and damage absorption spells to read self-only, and there's a new link on the links page for a French forum called "Camelot's Classes". Also, if you mosey over to the Files section, or click here, you can download a new Stat Tracking tool, allowing you to customize and optimize your character's equipment bonuses, so as to get the most out of your stat plusses.
So, recently there's been a slow-down on updates (yeah... I know it's been 10 days...). I've also become delinquent on the new spells pages I promised. Well, my 7-year anniversary is today, there's been numerous birthdays and events going on for me, and I'm only two weeks from finishing my degree (and it's about time...) so, stuff's been really hectic. But, consider this the calm before the storm, because I've arranged to hold the same job through August as I held last summer - the one that gave me enough free time to create this site, so around the end of May, beginning of June, when finals are over, and my research is all completed, you can expect to see stuff picking up rather quickly.

Configure your Realm Abilities!
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 5/2/2002 2:36:01 PM
I fixed the Shaman spells, Strength of the Deep and Vigor of the Deep - they were displaying incorrectly, updated all the values for the Hunter's Dexterity of the Lynx line (I had it set at a 1.5x buff, but in reality it's a 1x buff), and updated the spell level of the Healer's Pacifying Glare from 35 to 36. I've got three new links on the links page - one for the official Korean DAoC page, and one for a new guild - St. Cripsin's League on Nimue/Albion. The third link is one everyone should go see, a new Online Realm Abilities Configurator for planning your character's realm abilities, it's very cool.
I'm talking with a few people currently about the new Spell List Formats, so hopefully that will get underway soon enough.
