New Guide, A Pair of Updates
Submitted by: Uriel on 5/11/2004 6:10:37 PM
There's a new guide on how to make a Thidranki Battledruid, written by Ventris. All of you who love making alts over and over again might want to check this out.

Our weapon speed calculator has been updated - the entire formula is now multiplicative. The calculator results should now better match speeds observed in-game.

The Pendragon United subsite, which is dedicated to making Pendragon more effective as a test server, has seen a number of updates since news was posted at its debut.

Charcopy has been reset on Pendragon so copy your characters over now.

Server Maintenance
Submitted by: Ardreiltagh on 5/4/2004 5:52:42 AM

Getting ready for Frontiers Open Beta Mythic is taking down most of the servers today (5/4) for some maintenance.

  • 8:00 AM EDT: We are taking down the first group: Galahad, Mordred, Palomides, Bors, and Pellinor.
  • Approximately 11:00 AM EDT: The first group will come back up, and the second group will come down: Iseult, Bedevere, Morgan Le Fay, Gawaine.
  • Approximately 2:00 PM EDT: The second group returns, and the third will have their nap: Nimue, Kay, Tristan, Igraine.
  • Approximately 5:00 PM EDT: The third group will return, and no servers will go down.
  • You'll note that Pendragon, Lancelot, Percival, Merlin, Guinevere, and Gaheris will not be coming down at all (although Pendragon might - just not for maintenance). That's because those six server clusters are already on fast, newer machines with more memory. The others are being upgraded to meet those standards.

Mythic has stripped the RA's of Pendragon players with 1.70J.

Realm Ability System

  • With this version, all characters on Pendragon (including players not currently in the New Frontiers beta) are stripped and refunded of all realm abilities upon login. Please visit your class trainer to train in the new system.
  • The first pass of the new Realm Ability system for New Frontiers is now in place for all Pendragon players to begin testing. For more information on the replacement of the Realm Ability system, please visit http://www.camelotherald.com/newfrontiers/realmabilities/index.php Please note that none of the class unique abilities have been implemented at this time.
  • All realm abilities now have delve information. Players can view the details of the new realm abilities by clicking the "Info" button on the class trainer when highlighting an ability before training it, or by delving the ability on the character sheet once it has been purchased.
