A Few More Strats
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 7/31/2002 9:35:14 AM
I've got three new strategy guides for you today - A Shaman guide by Abercrombie I found on Warcry, a new extensive Mercenary guide by Hendrick, and a new Shadowblade guide by Adam, who promises more updates in the future. There's also a few more class level titles out today, thank to all who keep sending 'em in =) I'd say we've got about 60-70% of them already.

Addendum - Thanks go out personally to TheDarkMauler for sending me about 40 Hibernian class titles in one shot, and Antra for helping me finish off the Midgard Class Trainer lists!

Some extra smurfy flavoring
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 7/26/2002 2:17:50 PM
I'm 90% done playing in my inbox, and I did happen to miss a few e-mails containing class titles, so there's some more class titles online today, and extra-specially, Xadros Siverhair informed me that his Cabalist guide has been fully translated to English, so you can check out the Tower of Dark Magic link on the Cabalist page to visit Xadros's Cabalist page.

A weird flavor of smurf
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 7/25/2002 10:53:06 AM
So, I just got back tonight from vacation, and true to my incorrigible self, I am giving you an update before I even unpack. I had a good time, yes, save for the extreme sunburn. The nape of my neck, and most of the skin on my arms and legs is a weird shade of fuscia, and I can only imagine that I resemble an oddly-colored smurf. Anyhow, as I sort through the 400+ messages I got, here are the ones that stood out: There is a new Eldritch guide today from Ethereal Shadowdancer, and a bunch of new level titles (but we're still missing a lot!). I've been talking with a friend about a new spells resource, and looks like we may have some goodies for you in the near future, so I'll keep you posted =)

A wee bit o’ R & R
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 7/16/2002 11:21:25 AM
I'm heading out to California very early Thursday morning (5 am... ick) and will be in California for a week, attending my cousin's wedding and participating in one of those vacation thingers. I will not be back until Thursday, July 25th, and chances are very good that I will not have Internet access in the hotel room. All e-mails will be read and responded to when I return, but not until then, so don't get discouraged if you don't hear from me for a little bit. I will see you all when I return.

Spell Lists and Miscellaneous
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 7/12/2002 8:57:18 AM
First off, we have a new link on the links page, for the Camelot Seer - a great site that is devoted to Realm Warfare Statistics. For example, on the Camelot Seer, you can see the top realm point holders broken down by class, race, level and loads more. Second, Tim updated his armsman guide with some new play styles. Lastly, thanks to everyone who's sent me class titles and spell updates the past few days, keep 'em coming =) Working with Scott Jennings from Mythic, I've updated all of the spell lists to conform with patch 1.51. There's still a few errors with the spell database we're working out, but they're minor... Almost every spell list has had major, major changes, so now may be a good time to print yourself out a new copy =)

Where ya been all my life?
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 7/9/2002 9:42:10 AM
If you've been reading the news at Camelot Herald, you'd see that they officially released full spell documentation, and even have a rudimentary spell library up. I've been talking with the Mythic programmer responsible, Scott Jennings, all morning (I'm not the only one... poor Scott has been swamped with feedback) but the short of it is that he's trying to get the Library fully functional (it was missing some spell lines) and he helped me get in touch with the spell designer, so I gave them a list of bugs and it looks like all those spell problems I've been noting over the past months will be looked at (Major Suppressive Barrier, Stifle Lifeforce, Lava Strike, and the Hibernia regrowth group heals). If you know of any spells that I didn't mention where the spell name is repeated in the same spell line, misspelled, or something else not correct, let me know and I'll forward it to the right people.
So, now that we've got an official spell document, I can start filling in the spells list. Other sites that may be filling theirs in soon are Catacombs and Allakhazam's ... but I'm doing some chatting with people, and hope to be able to report back to you some good news soon about a cooperative community effort for this new info. Anyhow, throughout the next few days, I'll be striving to fill in all the stuff from 1.51 that I didn't have the info for at the time. I'll let you know when it's all up.

Seven Years of Bad Luck
Submitted by: Mistwolf on 7/5/2002 12:10:10 AM
So, the mirror I secured a few weeks back died due to financial troubles. Something about being a non-profit website with no banners or ads forced it to close. Stupid finances. I'll see about getting another sometime in the future. At any rate, I got an e-mail from one of Mythic's web programmers with some good news - I may be able to fill in patch 1.51's new spells and the missing style info with real official info soon, so I'll keep you posted. Other than that, last week I continued to add class level titles and new spell info, though I don't feel like listing it all out =) But I'm still missing a bunch of class titles... for those wishing to send them in - just check your respective class page, and if you know of one that's not listed, shoot me an e-mail. There's also a new Wizard Strategy Guide up for your reading pleasure.
