Starting Class: Fighter
Slashing and Crushing weapons are Strength based; Flexible and Thrusting weapons are Strength/Dexterity based.
The Flexible weapons line contains weapons that do both Slashing and Crushing damage, but not Piercing damage.
If you want to use a Flexible weapon, you do NOT also have to train in the damage type. If you use a crushing flexible weapon, for example, you can use it to full effect without any points in Crushing.
The Soulrending skill is based on Piety. This allows Reavers to use chain armor designed for Clerics, but it means that the Inconnu race has 10 wasted points in Intelligence.
Reavers are on the advanced hybrid hit point table, along with Paladins and Shadowblades.
Reavers get 2.0 specialization points per level.

Sprint
A base ability available to everyone. Sprint provides players with a means of a quick getaway from dangerous situations. Players can only sprint for a short period of time, though some classes have access to "Longwind," a Realm Ability that can increase the duration of the sprint. Endurance is drained as the player is in "sprint mode."
Evade I (15)
The percent chance to dodge enemy swings.
Protect I (9)
Melee classes can assign themselves to protect another caster/healer player, which will act like an automatic taunt effect against the enemy and may distract the enemy whenever the protected character uses a magic attack or healing spell.
